Cicken Casserole
Ingredients:

1 cup diced carrots
3/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
3 cups cooked, chopped chicken
1/2 cup mushrooms
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

TOPPING:
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk 1-1/4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Method
Casserole: In saucepan, combine carrots, onion, celery and chicken broth. Simmer 20 minutes. In 3-quart casserole dish, mix soup, sour cream, chicken, mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Add simmered vegetables and liquid; mix well. Topping: In mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add eggs, milk and 1 cup of the cheese. Mix just until well blended. Drop tablespoonfuls of the topping onto the casserole and bake in 3500 oven for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with remaining cheddar cheese and return to the oven until cheese is melted.

Notes: There are never any leftovers when I serve this dish!

Cheddar maccaroni beef Casserole
1 pkg. (7-1/4 oz.) KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Dinner
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 can (14-1/2 oz.) Italian-style stewed tomatoes, undrained
1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves or dried basil leaves
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese



PREHEAT oven to 400ºF. Prepare Dinner as directed on package, omitting butter. Meanwhile, brown meat in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat; drain. Add tomatoes and oregano; mix well. Bring to boil.
ADD meat mixture to Dinner; spoon into 2-qt. casserole dish. Sprinkle with cheese.
BAKE 10 min. or until cheese is melted and casserole is heated through.

Here's a delicious chicken casserole recipe from a friend of mine:
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked, chopped chicken breast
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 small container sour cream
1 large plain yogurt
5 or 6 jalapenos, cut up
1 pkg frozen chopped spinach
1 clove of garlic, minced
taco chips
provolone cheese slices or grated

Crumble chips to cover bottom of 9 X 13 pan. Mix all other ingredients except cheese and spread over chips, then top with cheese. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes to an hour. Enjoy!

Beef Casserole

1 lb ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
8 ounces uncooked egg noodles
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 small onion, chopped
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated

Combine ground beef and onion in a skillet.
Brown beef over medium heat.
Add salt and sugar.
Drain well.
Add tomato sauce.
Cook noodles according to package directions.
Combine cream cheese and sour cream in a small bowl.
In a 2 quart dish, layer noodles, cream cheese mixture, and meat.
Top with cheddar cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees until hot (about 30 minutes).

Beef casserole. 1kg beef pieces, carrots ,mushrooms, onions, celery, red and green peppers. Put all in slow cooker with salt, pepper and cover with stock made with 2 or 3 oxo cubes. I cook this over night on low setting. Thicken with cornflour half hour before serving if too runny. Its one of my favourite winter recipes. Serve with creamy mash, peas and cabbage. Lush!

A very easy casserole

ROTEL CHICKEN PASTA


12 oz. Velveeta cheese
1 box cream cheese
1 small can Rotel tomato (large can if you like it spicier)
1 can cream of chicken (or cream of celery/mushroom)
7 oz. Angel hair pasta
3-4 chicken breasts (boiled and shredded or cubed)

Combine Velveeta, cream cheese, cream of chicken soup and Rotel in skillet. Heat until all cheeses are melted. Add chicken and let simmer about 15 minutes. Boil angel hair pasta for 4 minutes, drain and add to mixture before serving.

(stew)beef with carrots onion gravy maybe parsnip.


steam potatoes

put diced beef into pot with water .add onion and carrots about 20 mins later. cook for about 20 mins then add gravy and mix and simmer

cup of broath without gravy is very nice as starter especially on cold day

simple beef casserole
put chopped braising steak,onions or shallots and carrots in an oven proof dish!
get stock or packet beef casserole mix and mix with red wine!
season with bit of salt and pepper and cover!
put in centre of oven gas mark 4 and cook for 6/8 hours!
it is delicious!

CHICKEN TORTILLA CASSEROLE

3 cups cubed chicken
3/4 cup chicken broth
3 tbsp flour
1/4 cup butter
2 1/2 tbsp onions (chopped)
1 1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 oz jalepeno peppers
1 tsp salt
1 doz. tortillas, pulled into pieces, or taco chips
1/2 cup shredded cheese (preferably sharp)
1 1/2 cup chopped stewed/canned tomatoes

Melt butter, add onions and saute about 5 minutes. Add flour and cook till bubbly. Pour milk and broth in gradually, stirring until smooth. Add peppers and tomatoes and stir.
In a large casserole spread a layer of meat, then tortillas or tacos and cheese, repeat until all is used up. Pour sauce over this and sprinkle with cheese over entire casserole.

Bake at 350F degrees for 1/2 an hour our until bubbly. Serve hot.

Taco Macaroni Skillet

12 ounces extra-lean ground beef
2 cups water
1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes in juice, undrained
1 (4-ounce) can ORTEGA® Diced Green Chiles
1 (1.25-ounce) package ORTEGA® Taco Seasoning Mix
1 1/2 cups dried elbow macaroni
2/3 cup NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided use
Cook beef in a large skillet, stirring frequently, until brown; drain. Stir in water, tomatoes with juice, chiles and seasoning mix. Cook until mixture comes to a boil.
Add pasta; return to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 14 to 16 minutes or until pasta is tender.
Stir in evaporated milk. Remove from heat; stir in 1/4 cup cheese. Sprinkle remaining cheese over top. Cover; let stand for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

either cook til browned drain cook onions celery carrot swede turnip parsnip put in slow cooker or pan low heat cook day b4 add stockcubes and bit of mint sauce.cool put in fridge make dunmplinns nxt day dumplin mix at shop or flour suet and water and herbs cook for 15-20 mins in stew
