I'm not really sure what your question is, but I don't disagree that there was a time when many men considered women as property. And that for most women, attaching herself to a man was her only option. That certainly isn't the present norm, at least not in the "developed" world. There are still both women and men who attempt to exploit others for their wealth, fame, prestige, etc. I think that's just part of being human. Sorry, but I don't know what a branded cattle morality is . . .
