miliy: I had a pet pig as a child when we lived in Fiji, it was a beautiful clean and intelligent animal but in the end my family ate it when the time came.

no they would live in dirty places we dont kill them & we dont raise them
i think u love pigs go see what they eat & where they play & imagine ur self eating it

I am a citizen of an islamic country and the place where i lived , there were huge number of pigs around and they used to walk around freely even sometimes on roads at night and no one would ever touch them for hurting.........I guess if the whole world were islamic, the pig were livings even more safe and sound life becuase Islamic teaches mercy for the animals ! and as muslim do not eat pigs , so their lives were even more safe !

Islam doesn't call for the extermination of pigs, it just says Muslims are not allowed to eat them!!!

God did not create any thing useless. Pig is an excagenger and eats the dirty things to keep the earth clean. God said in divine revelation not to eat pig's meat. God didn't say destroy all pigs. He wanted humans to destroy all of them, God would not have made them in the first place. I saw wild pigs in India eating rotten things from the piles of trash in streets and in the city trash dumpt out of cities. There are big birds that keep looking down to earth for dead animals to come down and clean by eating their meet.
God created all kinds animals, birds and insects to eat
other excess living beings to control the population.
Remember in early centuries of USA farmers killed all wolves. Late population of deers in jungle grew so much that they would eat all grass in jungle and would come in cities to eat plants in front yards of city dwellers. Lots of accidents were happening in roads because of influx of deer population. I saw on tv many years ago police was shooting these excess deers and burning them in incinerators.
Few decades ago US brought deers from Canada and let them grow in national parks. Now woolves are enough to control deer population.

Its not like muslims are afraid of pigs, pig is just against our religion to eat, just like alchohol is to drink.
