Find support from a counselor or group that specializes in emotionally abused women. It'll help you find your strength and put this loser behind you for ever.

People like that don't change, ever. It probably makes him feel better about himself to make you feel small. Even if it's hard to forget him, you need to. Make sure the next guy is the total opposite of him.

Has he changed now? Really, whether or not you can stand to be in a relationship anymore, you should learn to forgive. It will put your mind at ease. If you feel he has changed and you want to be with him, then you can do that. I do believe people can change if they really want to. Don't let him tell you he will. Make him show you that he has. Don't put up with anyone putting you down and making you feel bad. Take care.
