I just found out that my dog has tapeworm. i got drontel for it and they said it was a one treatment only that will kill every worm in her body. when i give her this pill will she have to go to the bathroom and get them all out? i dont know what to expect.

Drontil is the brandname of praziquantel for dogs. If you gave it to your dog the worm(s) are dead. You might see them pass or you might not. It works within an hour or two, but worms take a couple of days to pass.

Tapeworms are from fleas. Keep her on Frontline to prevent them.

Yes, the dead worms will be passed in her faeces. One dose of Drontal should be all you need - but do worm every three months from now on to prevent her becoming reinfested.

when you give it to her take her outside to poop, because when she does there will be dead worm's, also read the side of the can it came in for the right amount to give her , you dont want to over medicate her , it should have side effect information on the can also,

when my cat had tapeworm (jesus...it's sooo disguisting) it was enough one pill and then everything went out with a poop:)
just give a right dose of medicine
