I am not so complacent. It is those who are most sure who need to re-evaluate their lives. What flaw in human understanding is here for those who wait upon a nebulous end-time while tripping over their own feet when it comes to simple human kindness? Many who believe in judgment day would do well to study the small, rather than the great. I take much of my inspiration from the examples of Frodo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey. Am I wrong to take what are obviously Christian lessons (Tolkien's work was "Catholic in the revision") without taking the literal Bible and modern literal-minded interpretations into account? Who else takes Lord of the Rings as a model for life and philosophy? I never said I was normal...

How can i possibly be sure of anything on judgement day .I can't remember every second of my life and what i did .But God does. I just hope He finds me in His favour.
edit.....Pride is not very popular with God.

I am not sure , no one is assured that's why we must be on guard to stay in an acceptable standing with our heavenly father. Hebrews 6:4&6 & 1 Corinthians 9:27

If we are truly born again then we have already been judged, because we have pass from death unto life, therefore the only Judgemnet day is for the wicked as brought out in Rev. Chapter 20.

the bible says in Rom 10:13 whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord SHALL be saved. didnt say might be, could be. IT is definite. John 3:16 says we SHALL have everlasting life. Im very sure that Jesus can and will do what he has promised in his word.

It is the day of judgment, the new day, and people are rising out of their graves of death and unbelief. Are you sure you understand the meaning of this term?

I pray that I won't be here on judgment day. I pray I will already be in Heaven.
