We (my husband and I) had unprotected sex on Saturday night, it's now Wednesday and my period is due in about a week. When can I test? It's doing my head in having to wait lol.

And before I get the sarky comments, i'm a 26 year old married women who knows perfectly well how to use contraception, but sometimes it does fail!

Cheers.

Some tests claim you can test days before your period is due- but if you read the fine print, waiting until the day of your missed period is most accurate for the results. I'm in a similar boat until I can test next tues. or Weds., and still working hard to remind myself why those early tests are very accurate- but it's doing me in too! Every little thing I'm trying to read as a 'pregnancy' sign- ridiculous! We just must 'wait it out'.

5 days before your missed period with First Response. Although I personally would wait until 2 or 3 days. I was already 6 days late when I tested and I used a CVS brand and it worked.
