without proof? OR to believe in someone's innocence till you have proof of their guilt?

Don't get me wrong...its perfectly ok to air one's opinion even if it wildly differs from the rest.

But to call someone a puppet & a moron & a puppet when they do the same, it just not right & fair.

Faith, just leave it. Even those of us who openly admit we haven't got a clue on the McC case have been abused. I know you are a very well meaning person but your wasting your breath. You're right, freedom of speech is one thing but vitriolic bile is another.

I have never accused the McCanns of murder, nor have I proclaimed them innocent. I am neither anti nor pro, but I have still been abused for stating facts. It appears from both sides. The only thing I know for sure is that Kate and Gerry McCann neglected their children that night, and that it is down to them that Madeleine is missing. Whatever people say, there will be someone who doesn't agree with it, and there are a few vindictive people who will go to any lengths to put their point across, and punish others for daring to have a different opinion. I agree, it isn't right or fair, and people should just let others have their opinions, regardless of whether they agree with them or not. Opinions are something that we, as humans, are entitled to; and nobody should have it taken away from them. If people don't like an opinion, that's fine, just don't get personal about it.

I am in the bracket that is termed 'Anti McCann' as I really do not like them, although I have never said that they are guilty of murder. Why? I don't have any proof to accuse them of murdering their daughter. And I respect anyone elses views whether they agree with this or not, I dont agree with name calling on either side of the arguement and despite there being some wonderful people on here who can debate like proper grown ups there will always be a few that will try and spoil it for us all.

Good question Faith

Honestly it is pointless trying to get some people to be fair. There are people on here who seem to hate the people who believe the McCanns are innocent,They come up with the same thing over and resort to childish namecalling. Some even have multiple identities and give themselves best answers and things,so I personally do not take their opinions into account,Id get more sense from my 5 year old,and I really do mean that.
