Your question wasn't racist

I did read your question and I read the responses. You did get a couple critical replies. But look at it this way. What if you were an immigrant and you read that question. Would you be okay with it? What if you were an immigrant and you were working 12 hours a day to make end meet and then you read that question?

My point is, you were insulting a group of people. Don't assume that everybody on the internet is in the majority, it doesn't work like that. Be more careful with your selection of words.

if you labelled a whole community as something then yes that is racist. if not it might be the way that you asked the question. i looked at your illegal immigrant question and i think that you can't blame them on your own life troubles. i'm white and from london where there are loads of black people and immigrants and i am successful, i went to a college before going to university and i was one of the only two white people in my class. i experienced racism there but hey not all non white people are like that, my friends non white were better than them. in fact i got the best grades in the class along with 3 other people. it's not the colour or nationality it's the hard work and the attitude that you put into it

Depends on the question. If someone asked "Do you think all Polish/black/muslim/Scottish people should be deported" and underneath wrote something like "cos they're taking over our country and they're all lazy and sponging off the dole" there might well be some evidence for this being racist.

If on the other hand, they were asking how much cheese costs in Indonesia, maybe not!

I think that you have amply demonstrated the group IQ of the BNP. Personally, I wouldn't mind being called 'raciest.' Racist, on the other hand...

In the UK it is now considered racist to be British or show concern for what was once our country. We are now "Europeans" and have to put up with seeing our country used as a dump for all the "economic migrants" that other member states do not want. This is a statement of fact yet it is seen as racist. You would even be labeled "racist" if you said it was wrong to pay child benefit to migrants for children who do not live in Britain! That makes 90% of brtish people "racist", so don't worry about being labled racist - you are not alone. You are probably not a racist in the real sense any more than I am, you just care about your country and where it is heading. Keep asking your questions because one day soon someone is going to have to answer for the collapse of what was once Great Britain.

contrary to the comment below your question asking a question doesn't make you a racist - everyone should question everything especially when it involves the spending of public money - eg - immigration should be stopped because the UK cannot afford to keep any more people - we don't have enough jobs - houses - school places or hospital beds not to mention the water supply and sewage systems - saying this does not make me racist it's just basic common sense .

people use labels like racist when they haven't got enough intelligence to think of a good answer and like to be seen as a do - gooder - usually by wealthy or unemployed people who don't care about footing the bill for the spongers.

you keep asking questions and ignore the stupid answers - being a racist is a nasty unpleasant thing and i don't think it applies to you

I would say no... It's like calling me a homo for talking to gay people and asking them questions about their lifestyle etc. To understand why people treat others with hate you have to ask the hater. To understand gay's point of view, you have to ask gay person...Now if iyou will use that knowledge in the conversation you do have arguments to support it and that make you smarter than " I heard from cousin of my uncle's wife's best friend's husband's sister that.... lol. As long as you don't hate based on color, sexuall preferences or religion you shouldn't be call a racist.

Well, free speech only goes so far. You have no right to insult, harass, demean, or make fun of others by asking a 'question' that is just a way to vent anger against a certain group! NOBODY has that right.

Depends on what the question is. If you asked me would I like to come over your house for some chicken, watermelon, and chitterlings then I'd most definitely classify you as a stereotyping son of a *****.

Ignorance is bliss, but it isn't cute.

If it was a racy question and it was more racy than anyone elses, then yes it would be right for you to be called the raciest.
