i know exactly how they will do it. they will say that the war on terror is actually all clinton's fault anyway, and it's only right a democrat fix clinton's mess.

of course, in reality it was mostly the fault of the reagan administration for funding and arming jihadists against the ussr in afghanistan, but whatever. it wasn't reagan or clinton's fault that bush invaded iraq.

Well, the mission to remove Saddam Hussein, which Everybody voted for, was accomplished quickly.

The battle since then has been to fill the subsequent power vacuum with a representative (non hostile) government rather than allowing it to be filled by something like Radical Islam.

The Libs have been saying this war is pointless & we should toss the Cons out of office for getting us in a pointless war.
The Cons have been saying it's VERY important who controls the world oil supply, that the Libs KNOW this & have been LYING about the war for purely political reasons.

So who's lying?

Well, this question presumes the Libs are lying. Since it presumes the war will continue under liberal leadership. It asks if the Cons will now begin LYING about the war for purely political reasons.

I guess I agree with regerugged, I think the Libs reached an all time low on this one and don't think the Cons will follow suit.

But I could be wrong. I encourage everyone to watch….and remember.

until now the final mid-term election, the dems ran on the platform that in the event that they have been elected into place of work, they might carry our troops domicile and convey an end to the Iraq war. (aka: resign). properly right here we are almost a 365 days later with no longer a difficulty that our democrat led congress promised us placed into action. (by utilising the way, they have performed no longer plenty else in this time the two). you're so very incorrect on your fact that conservatives have help for the war with a "blind faith". Liberal democrats (as known) politicize each and every thing that occurs it style of feels. The libs demanded that the president hear to a committee formed with regard to what our course could be in the Iraq war. The committee gave various concepts. while Bush chosen to maintain on with between the innovations (troop surge). That wasnt stable adequate for the libs. They tried to stall it at each and every turn. all of us be responsive to that we had a troop surge. yet until now THE SURGE HAD EVEN began their have been libs in the congress that have been proclaiming that it wasnt working. we've a regularly occurring that grow to be ordered to furnish a record to state whether the surge grow to prevail or no longer. while early comments by utilising self sustaining information companies gave some stable comments suitable to the surge, they did no longer want to look ahead to the record, they have been attempting to tell the regularly occurring public that it grow to be a failure. while Patreus finally gave his record, they especially plenty accused him of being a liar and a puppet for Bush. If the libs will submit to in recommendations, he grow to be a regularly occurring that they had until now agreed grow to be basic and noble adequate to tell the reality. If all people is blind around right here, its the libs and their want for the war and the finished attempt to be a failure.

Definitely. The anti war movement is already blamed for demoralizing the troops and emboldening the enemy. Conservatives say that Democrats have given the enemy the idea that if they just fight harder, the US will leave! Imagine that. Conservatives also say that Democrats undermine morale by saying something that the troops would never figure out for themselves: that this is a pointless and unwinnable war!

I personally will wait until the first rushed plane load of our soldiers falls out of the sky because getting our guys out was more important than the maintenance of their transport.

Following popular opinion is something that liberals do. Conservatives have the common sense to stick with things they know are correct.
