When we say 'bad boy' it's not bad boy per se. Just rough and tough. I'd like to have a man, that other men respect. He should be respected by men of his own age group or older. It shows the maturity level and gives a sense of security.

I would be proud to be known as his girl. Being a bad boy does not necessarily have to mean that, the guy treats the girl badly. It just means he won't take crap from no one, and knows his sh!t. And people know not to mess with him.

He should have a control over me, but not over-powering. At the same time, i should be able to melt him down. He should be protective, but not overly.

I should be able to walk down the street with him and feel protected... like the world can't touch me. ( Playing MC Hammer's 'You can't touch this" )

I agree with Dani on all levels. Including her comment about Rash.. shut up boi!

Ok.. done with my ranting now..

Some women have a wild streak and it's the thrill and excitement that the image brings. But, reality does set in. The problem is most women who find bad boys appealing don't figure out that it was the good boy they really wanted until after the children and the divorce and then it's too late to turn back the clock.

Good question. I cant say why some women specifically find that image appealing, but, I'm attracted to it too. For me I guess it's kind of the idea of somebody being such a bad
@ss to everyone else and then being this big protecter type to me..Because all the "bad boys" I've been attracted to were @ssholes to alot of people but sweet to me, and I liked that..I dont know why. Maybe it's because we dont have to worry about people messing with us if we're with a guy who looks like he'd rip your face off if you looked at him wrong. I'm also attracted to a man who wont just roll over and take peoples crap. Bad boys arent known for being push overs, so maybe that's anothe reason why they're attractive.

Edit- the man below me, doesnt know what he's talking about, so probably shouldnt be talking at all. I dont like being treated like crap. I've had boyfriends who did that and I hated it and our relationship didnt last long, at all. They werent even "bad boys", just jerks. Maybe you're just too much of a pushover and that's why women arent attracted to you? I like like it when a man is sweet to me, but has a backbone, and doesnt take crap from anyone ...except me:P

It's common in the animal kingdom for the female gender to be most attracted to the more masculine males of the species.

It's a challenge to her ability to tame or civilize him.

He's exciting; maybe he can bring entertainment to her boring life.

He's active, maybe he's talented and rich.

Nothing worse than a boring guy. No need to be a "bad boy"; just be worth listening to.

Its not just the bad boy image, they actually like to be treated bad. I'm a nice guy and treat women with respect and love they deserve, but they don't want it.

Treat them bad and they love you. It doesn't make sense to me but now I have shed the nice image and become mean and nasty. I find women like me much more and my relationships last much longer.

An unproductive argument here and there, ogling at other women, sleeping around, an odd slap here and there, they absolutely love it.
