My parents have a non-live in maid. She comes once a week for like 4 hours. 10 bucks an hour and the house gets vacuumed, mopped, and generally dusted, plus toilets are cleaned.
But in singapore this isn't anything new. We have prob around 200,000 to 400,000 maids in our country. It gives Sri Lankans, Filipinos and Indonesians employment. Plus in a country where both parents work in prob 70-85% of households. Its no surprise.

I have someone come once a week but that doesn't mean I sit on my pretty a$$ all day. I still come home from work at 8pm, cook dinner while doing laundry while doing kids homework while bathing kids while feeding starving pets while paying bills while......... so thank God, imagine if she quits on me.... I won't be able to keep my head above H2O!!

hunny...i AM the maid around this b*tch lol. sucks, but i wouldn't have it any other way. maids wouldn't know where half the sh*t in this house would go haha.

we have one but nevertheless i do housework there are some chores i prefer doing like washing dishes, clothes ,cleaning some surfaces the loo i think id do a better job
