lol no no no -- we have the ragin asian pitchin for us tonight so we should get 7 solid innings and we won't screw around with our bullpen like letting people like Bruney pitch. Also, even if they do tie us, there would not be a one game playoff. To decide ties, they go by the season series between the two teams. The Yankees' record against the Tigers is 4 - 3 so we would get the Wild Card no matter what. And your name calling is lagging behind a bit -- skankme? I expected a bit better -- something like stankee stadium or something to that effect! LOL

Why the Indians logo? I thought you were a die-hard Tiger fan! Did you lose a bet when they clinched?
Joba, I don't think it will happen, but if the Yankees and Tigers do end in a tie, they would play a one game playoff. The regular season head to head record only matters when one team would be the division winner and the other team would be the wild card. If the Tigers and Yankees are tied at the end of the year, one of those teams would be the wild card team and one would be out of the playoffs, so they would play one game.

Who cares if the Yankees get the Wild Card. The Sox are getting the division! The Yanks will lose in the first round vs Angels and the Sox will beat the Indians and Angels and go on to win the World Series!

You should have posted this in the "jokes" section. They won't win 5 in a row. They won't make the playoffs. There will be no MVP for Maglio. They choked away the WS last year, and the division this year. It'll be another 2 decades before they make the playoffs again.
