What the hell is happy about watching someone getting their head kicked in by a shower of yobs?? I read a story about 8 yobs who were videoed laying into a young boy who was left with extensive injuries, the story did not mention that these yobs were going to be charged with GBH or assault as they should be but probably won't be, quite ridiculous! What do you think?

happy slappers need to be delt with harshly.. they only attack the helpless .. have some of them come slap some of us in special forces or maybe my friend in the royal mariens.. then lets see how brave the chickensh***ts are
they should be charged but they are protected by the EU . in case we violate there rights..
its sick. hope they bring it to some of us who can and will defend ourselves. i for one wont leave them standing and neither will my mates.. a few may never get up again

I think that some people shouldn't be allowed to have kids. For them to grow up with such a complete lack of empathy or sense of right or wrong means that they have been completely stuffed up by the parents. Then the rest of us pay the price. They are almost mentally ill by normal standards, but what do you expect? Children are quite literally innocent, but that means amoral, not cute. If they are not brought up with a moral code they will be savages.
I would honestly advocate sterilising career criminals no matter that it goes against every liberal principle in the world.

Zoso has the right idea I'm against child abuse but there is a difference between child abuse and discipline, my mom gave me a few smacks as a kid and if she didn't I probly would of ended up a happy slapper.
I hung around in the "wrong crowds" I wasn't that bad by todays standards but it could of been. Parents should feel they are able to discipline there kids without fear from the state. parents can't win if the kid does wrong - the parents get it in the neck if the parents discipline the kid by smacking (not beating) then the parents get it in the neck. The PC brigade need to wake up and smell the coffee.

It is a mess around. What went wrong?? Government took some of the responsibilities from parents, kids are not responsible for anything.... what do you expect in that case?? Put a public belt charge (very traditional and forgotten) for every case of the Happy Slapping and see how many will do that again

I would cheerfully kill to defend myself in those circumstances,i would not be able to do anything else.15 years ago i put 3 lads in hospital for trying to mug me in manchester,if they had been happy slappers i would not have been so gentle.
