Yes I do. I don't agree with the war my country is fighting, but I love the soldiers who will do anything in their power to protect us. It's awe-inspiring.

yes, as much as i do most other countries soldiers, by joining there army, that shows that they like most of all the people who they want to defend.
although the American national guard sadly is becoming more and more corrupted here in Georgia, Ive been there at the drill meets, there more slack than they used to be, and allot of the soldiers there do drugs or some sort or another, more higher than it used to be.
i dont know about the regular army or other branches of the military, but the national guard here in Georgia has become really slack and ghetto.

I don't.
Canada only uses overpriced yet bargain-bin-quality hand-me-down vehicles, ships, planes etc.
Up until we'd gotten into Afghanistan, the majority of Canadian deaths in the military was due to the crappy equipment malfunctioning. You know at one point they actually painted our helicopters a bright yellow so that they'd be easier to locate if they crashed? That's how dependable they were.
As for the soldiers themselves, I don't respect them as they're not showing what Canada is about. We're supposed to be a peaceful nation. We help in diplomacy, negotiations, and peace keeping. Right now they're in Afghanistan fighting a war. That's not what Canada is supposed to be about, and the actions of the military is changing the world view/opinion of Canada. And not for the better.

Definitely. They are the ones safeguarding our properties and lives standing at the frontline. They are also the reason we can sleep so soundly at night.

Absolutely---unfortunately they've been sent into a no-win situation. I'd prefer they were all home safe and protecting our borders.
