With the Clinton's records( Bill & Hillary),
I'd say that Osama bin Laden
would have a better chance of getting elected
than Sen. Clinton.
The person of color stands
a better chance
providing that the candidate is male.
We have women mayors, governors, senators, representatives, etc,
but I don't think that the U.S is ready
to have a woman in such a key position.
Even with all jokes aside, I don't think the male ego in this country is really ready for such a move.

I think many will, but I doubt there'll be enough to win. There are still too many Neanderthals out there controlling the show.

The Dems need to pick a HIGHLY electable candidate, not someone who has a 50/50 chance. 4 more years of Republican management and you'll be in another depression for sure. I'm pretty sure that's what's going to happen anyway, and I'm not alone in that belief. All you have to do is look at the value of the greenback to see what's coming. The economy has been totally trashed by the current regime. It'll take the Dems at least 2 or 3 terms to pull the country out of this tailspin.

Unfortunately, the being a woman or being a person of color becomes a focus of things. People should be elected beause of what they stand for, what they will do in office and the kind of person they are. Being black, being a woman, being purple or even green should not make a difference in the political ring, and should not be the primary influence in voter's minds.

Sure, at some point, when the right candidate comes along, a black person or a woman will be elected.

I'm sure plenty of people WILL vote for Obama and Hillary. Will they win is another question. Surprisingly enough more blacks are against voting for Obama, and more women are against voting for Hillary. Are white men ready for a woman president, or a black president? We did free the slaves before we gave women rights...In any case bias needs to be taken into account on this matter. If elected, will Obama start doing special things for the Black Community. White presidents already do. Will there be more special rights for people who already have special rights? Now before you write me off as a racist I mean special rights as in there is a ***** college fund, but not a Caucasian college fund. There is BET but no WET. You get the idea. So yes they will get votes, but if Hillary wins, its because of Bill, and if Obama wins, he will be assassinated within a month of being elected.

Yes,though I don't think either the woman or the person of color running right now should be elected.

The woman is a corporate tool pretending to be a Democrat, and the person of color I do not see as being experienced enough

Being a person of color probably has more positives than negatives.

I believe most people vote for candidates who most closely reflect their views.

I would vote for Condaleeza Rice or JC Watts; not because of skin color, but because I believe in their conservative message.

If I were liberal I might gravitate towards Obama.

I personally, being a person of color, believe the "colored" people would vote for the best person who will perform their duties.

Will non colored people only vote for non colored candidates?

Yes. I think that Hillary is counting on people voting for her, simply because she is female.
