My daughter is afraid of the ghost she sees, what should I do?

She is three years old and she tells me about this man that watches her. She doesn't like him and is absolutely afraid to be alone at night. During the day though she will tell me they play together. She tells me that he should go home at night and then come back the next day. She is terrified and I don't know what to do. This isn't the first time she has seen someone either. We had been at the hospital a while ago and when we left she was telling me how she met a new friend named Neal and he had owies on his legs. She says he came and played with her for a while but then he had to go.

This man scares her though. Is there a way for me to get rid of him. Would smudging sage or another type of cleansing work? I told her to tell him to go to god and she did but she says he is still here. I feel helpless and don't know what to do. Please help! Thanks in advance!

You really need to burn sage in each corner of the house, (make sure the windows are open a little for the spirit to get out) I've heard that this works for evil spirits, not sure if it applies to all spirits. Any type of hippy shop that sells incense will have this. I've had to do this for my parents when they had severe marital problems and had an evil spirit in their house.

I've also heard that you can put vinegar out in a saucepan and put pepper in it. Ghosts don't like that smell either. (again, make sure the windows are slightly open).

Do yous have a family pet? Usually a cat will go crazy if it sees a ghost. Then you'll really know you have something and your daughter isn't hallucinating. Cats pick it up more than dogs.

Holy water and chanting doesn't work (been there, done that) Burning sage is probably your best bet.

From all the shows on the discovery channel and science channel that my fiance and I watch, basically it says something about conducting some sort of sayance (not you, someone who is "skilled" in this matter) in order to get rid of the spirit. I do not believe in this route, as I am a believer of God, and it says in the Bible NOT to mess with the occult, sayances, ouji boards and the like.

For me, well if this was my situation, I would go to church and have your daughter explain this to a pastor or priest. I believe that all "spirit's" to be bad. It even says in the Bible that there arent' good angels, no cute little cupids sitting by your window. Spirits are demonic, and there is no way for a spirit to be the same person when it was in live human form. I belive they mean harm in some way. I strongly suggest you both turn to God in this matter and see what the church can do for you. Say a prayer out loud in your home at all times saying that God has more prescence there than whatever spirit is currently "residing".

I don't know too awful much about this, since I believe in God, I try very hard to stay away, however, I know for a fact I have seen "spirit's". This is in God's hands. Good luck. Read up on the internet. Read religiously inspired things, not things that are against God. The devil also mixes truth with lies and he wants nothing more than to see your innocent little girl do something "wrong" (for lack of a better word.)

Heard of imaginary friends?

Is there any male figure in her life that could be causing her anxiety?

If on the other hand these are ghosts you will need to see a psychic or a priest or a white magic worker to ward the house until she's old enuff to tell them to go way or move on to their next life.

Do you have a dog and cat if they react when these imaginary friends are around you may be dealing with ghosts.

If the pets have no reaction your child has imaginary friends!

Dont smudging thats a cleansing ritual.

You need a warding ritual!

Is there any family history of genuine psychic gifts?

Any Amerinds or Highlander Scots with second sight?

Try telling her the name of Jesus prayer.

Even if her visitors are just imaginary it should help!

When children aere 3 years old, making such "friends is usual for them.but there might also be something else: your daughter sees things a normal person does not see.She is a special person.She should communicate more with that strange spirit and see what he wants, why does he always occur to her.She might be gifted .I think you should not allow her to sleep alone and try to spend a longer time with her.Take her out, in the park and help her integrate into her own community of children.Help her find real friends.Great luck!

your daughter does defenatly have a sixth sense about her and it is nothing to be afraid of actually it is a gift I my self sometimes do. Of course she is going to be afraid she is very young but really there is nothing you can do to get rid of it if you clense the house you will get rid of that one sprit but what about the rest, like the man at the hospital. My best advice would be to read up on sprits and such get firmiliar with it. If she has the ablilty to see the dead you will need to know as much as you can.

children see thing that we as adults can't, i used to see and play with other "kids" when i was a child. but i had blocked it out once i got a little older. we all do it. listen to your daughter. cleanse your home. sage is a wonderful start. but if you think you child is pulling your leg, get a can of air freashener, make a label for it and call it bad begone spray. we don't do that though. we want our children to be in tune with the reality of the dead. we work with them to over come their fears, and teach them to tell them it's time to leave them alone.

Maybe there is some kind of a sixth sense and your daughter has the ability to see it.

I dont' t hink you can do much to prevent her from seeing things. Just try to be there with her at all time until she grows older and stronger.

if u believe in what she said and trust that she is not having illusions (looks like you are not), then maybe you wan to turn to your religion for help? maybe bring her to a monastery and stay there for some days?
