Well I tried it once, ten years ago, and all my boss said was "MMMM heavy night last night, huh? Well sweetie, if you are healthy enough to drink all night long, you should be able to cope eight hours in the office. You seem to be a tough girl, so I think you can manage." I had to work eight hours that day.
But if you can get away with it, why not and good luck.

I guess it depends on your boss. Personally, I know when every single one of my employees are sick, faking to be sick, or faking to be well.
They honestly fake being well much more than they fake being sick. They would rather tough it out at work than go home. I guess I have good, loyal employees. Too bad your boss apparently doesn't.

Yes it is. But don't do it after your boss or friend see you drinking beer that day or the day before. They will think that you throw up because you are drunk. You can get fired that way...

lol. well, you can always tell your boss by you being there it's costing the company money. they did some kind of study and found it's actually cheaper if the sick employee stays home.

wow you really wanna go home dont you !!
i am mildly allergic to codeine so if i dont wanna hang out at work i pop a neurofen plus which has codeine in it and it makes me vomit so i get to go home !!!
