What do you think about the name "Remy"? for a girl.

And, second part of the question is, do you think "Brooke" is a better name? Why or why not? Thanks.

rather than remy try remi or remee..other spellings can help for pronounciation, but Brooke is a good name too. Don't do what my mate has just done, called her son Shadow! (should you have a boy in the future)

Remy is a masculine French name, so I find it very odd on a girl. Especially since it was just used for the name of the (male) rat in the children's film Ratatouille! Ensuring that even those unfamiliar with the name's male origins will now not only realize it is a "boy's name," but also wonder why you named your daughter after a rat! Not into that at all, though I do like the similar Romy (as a nickname for Rosemary or Romilly).

Brooke is a fine name, but it's never been my favorite, to be honest. I do prefer it to masculine Remy, but I'd prefer the nickname Romy even more than Brooke. ;) Just depends.

Brooke is definately better! I've never cared for the name Remy, it makes me think of the brand 'remington' which makes hairdryers and stuff. Sorry, brooke is way better!!

Remy no.
Brooke maybe.
Although a bit old fashioned, my two favorites are Elaine and Roxanne.
