Has anyone heard of the release date for George Romero's new "Dead" film-"Diary of the Dead"?? Also, whatever happened to the re-make of "Day of the Dead"?
I would truly appreciate any new information about either of these films.
(p.s. If anyone is interested in the Zombie genre, I created a Yahoo group this year that is entirely focused on this particular subject. Please check out this link and tell me what you think as, I am always open to not only meeting new zombie fans but, welcome ANY input to make this group any better!

Thank you and, I truly look forward to hearing from all who share my interests!!)

...the folks over at the Weinstein Company camp appear to have picked up the rights to Romero's "Diary...", but at this time, no release date has been announced; originally slated for a direct-to-video release, apparently the Weinsteins are insistant upon a theatrical release. I suppose we'll just have to stay tuned, on this one...

...the last word on the remake of "Day of the Dead" apparently is that the release date has been pushed up, from Fall of 2007, to Spring of 2008, due to reportedly desperately needed reshoots (...historically, a sure sign of dismal prospects for any film); guess we'll have to wait on this one, as well...

...I look forward to checking out your proposed Yahoo! Group, and providing any input deemed noteworthy; I am a devoted horror film fan, and my knowledge, especially that of the 'living dead' genre, is quite respectable...

i think of it wasn't perchance as frightening as a number of his different zombie video clips because of the fact all people knew with regard to the zombies and so countless the creepiness became taken away. i presumed it became somewhat eerie however and that i liked John Leguizamo as Cholo. i think of it became an thrilling thought however, having the zombie's purely familiar as area of each and daily existence somewhat than purely without notice there is zombies and it cut back down on all people working around screaming and questioning what's occurring.
