That is my number one "Worst Super Bowl Match-up" at the moment. Number two would be the Colts vs. the Giants. I know it looks like the Giants might not make the playoffs, but do you remember that game from last year? The hype from it made me want to jump out a window onto spikes. And this was a regular season game, think about if they had two whole weeks to get ready for the "Manning Bowl." I might move out the country and force myself to like soccer or something if that happened.
That's my 2 for 2.

Actually, I'd like that. The Patriots would kill the Cowboys, and one more superbowl loss would mean they've lost almost as many as they've won (and I could pick on a coworkerwho is a Dallas fan).
However, I seriously doubt Dallas will make it. Typically, when they get a fast start they fizzle out by late midseason. I think Seattle, Chicago (with a better QB), Philly, and maybe Carolina will come on stronger in the late season.
In the AFC, I think it'll come down to New England, Indy, and Pittsburgh. The Steelers might very well be the best suited to stop the Patriots, as their Defense is very tough to figure out and they do have enough talent on Offense to pick apart a really good Defense (usually later in the game).
By late in the season, this is going to be a very competitive year (I hope).

At least it'd be a good game. And, frankly, as much of a b0ner as the guys on ESPN and the rest of the sports media would have if it happened, it still isnt as retch-worthy as it gets when a NY team is playing in a championship game....
Now just imagine if it was Baltimore-Chicago in the Super Bowl, which isnt outside the realm of possibility...two teams built on running the ball and stuffing you with defense, except neither have been able to do much but the latter. It'd be a 6-3 puntfest, worst Super Bowl ever :)
to iluvurmom below me: OAK and CLE are both in the AFC, dumbass....and they just played this week and it was a good game with a great finish

Well being from New England myself I would love to see the matchup. I think it is way to early to be talking about Super Bowls right now.

every 1 will see the preview to this years super bowl , in week 6, when the patriots go to dallas , you all will then see how good both team are. How can the cowboys and patriots be a bad super bowl the future hall of fame quarterback's in brady and romo....... and you all can hate on romo all u want , just look at the top rated quaterbacks in the league you'll see his name there, now and for many, many years to come, so just keep hating .and think about ti TO and MOSS on the same feild , 2 explosive offense's and 2 average defense's i think it would be one of the greatest super bowls ever.

I'd think it would be great, especially if cowboys stick it to them. I really think, if it happens, it will be one of the most watched superbowls, team from the east vs team from football crazy texas. Of course it will also depend on how good the game between them in week 6 is.

If you ask me the Pats are like a Jenga tower. If you take out a few key pieces (injuries) that team is going to crumble and I would pop open the bubbly and sing at the top of my lungs on the highest mountain top.

i could definately see that and it makes me sick too. mostly because of the Pats though. we still got 13 more games though so it might be too early to tell. except for the Pats who unfortunately are amazing. i'm still pulling for my chargers though which i doubt will happen. then again...
steelers went 15-1 in '04 and didn't make it to the super bowl. then won it the next year. Colts went 14-2 in '05 and didn't make it to the super bowl. then won it the next year. Chargers went 14-2 in '06 and didn't make it to the super bowl. then won it the next year? only time will tell

People hate the Cowboys because they could represent a resurgance of the NFC. A lot of hatred leftover from AFC lovers for the 1980s and 1990s.

Amen! Haha. Eh, it could be worse. Sometimes I wish my Saints will never win the Superbowl. It's just weird seeing all the Fleur De Lis that are popping up in TN, I think seeing more would be just too much. Oh wait, I don't HAVE to wish.....
