Will the result be reliable?

Most tests also have a "control indicator" in the result window. This line or symbol shows whether the test is working or not. If the control indicator does not appear, the test is not working properly. You should not rely on any results from a HPT that may be faulty.

I agree, you cannot retake a used pregnancy test. If it appeared to be invalid, read the labels and instructions. There may be a way where you can get your money back. I know pregnancy tests are very expensive these days. SO that would be your best bet. But buy another test just in case.

No it will not be accurate at all. You need to get another test. Anyways after about 10 minutes of taking the test a negative result should not be read, and a positive result will last for just 48 hours.

This may sound gross - but sometimes, I don't pee for a full 5-10 seconds.....and one time, I didn't urinate enough on it, so I kind of pushed a little more out and it dripped onto the pee stick and started moving across....so I would say try...lol - but ever since then, I have urinated in a cup and dipped the stick instead - so much easier!

You cannot reuse a urine dipstick if the results were invalid. you must retest with a new pregnancy test.

sounds as if the tester you were using is flawed. You'll need to use a fresh one.
