So it's been a little over a month since I smoked some pot. I only smoke maybe once every other month if that. I here it takes 90 day since the last time you smoked to pass a hair test. Since I rarely smoke would it be less days for me. Would I come up positive but not enough for them to do anything about it? I need some more input on this. I will have a good paying job. If I pass the stupid test.

Yeah smoke stays in your hair for the life of your hair. I had a friend who needed to pass a test and she said that she used some special shampoo and passed it. She was also a chronic liar so who knows. lol. You could always google it and see.
To the guy above, casual smoking of weed as long as its not on the job is not going to cause any difference in a persons work ethic or performance than alcohol would. There are the people that are addicted to it but the same thing goes with alcohol.

Considering that the jobs where they test for drugs are pretty important and have effects on other people, I want the person who doesn't smoke at all to get the job, so maybe you should lay off the pot altogether and then you wouldn't be in this mess.

there is no way to "beat" a hair test. if you test positive for drugs period (regardless of the amount) the employer will not hire you. and the lab can determine if a positive result is from actual drugs or medications you are taking so blaming it on a pill won't work either.

Depends upon how long your hair is. Did you know they did hair analysis on mummies and found some of them had used cocaine? That tell you anything? If you cut your hair really, really short you might pass the test.

What I heard is that it NEVER leaves your hair. The only way to get rid of any traces is to shave your head! I don't know if using color or perm products has any effect. I just know what I heard about hair tests, and it's not good!!

If they take a hair sample, you wont pass it....even shving your head you wont, they can also get a pubic hair and extract drugs from that. In all of my days as a chemist, I have never heard of anyone beating a hair analysis. Sorry
