:-D.................... It might be a good idea that you not drink so much when you drive around in the yard! sorry couldn't resist!

OK, do you have any fluid leaks? funny noises when driving straight or in curves? check for tire damage. is the bucket out? jack up the car and remove it.

I just can't help this, Laughing so hard. My first time to hear something like this.

The awful noise was the sound of the bucket scraping on the ground getting transmitted into your car, mostly.

Unless this was a galvanized steel bucket, I doubt you did any serious damage. Just stick your head under there and look for dents or scrapes (not a big deal) or anything leaking that wasn't leaking before (a somewhat big deal).

Chances are nothing happened, though.

Obviously you had a bad day!
I highly doubt the bucket would have done any damage underneath your car. Otherwise you would have seen the evidence by now. But if your concerned and feel that something isnt right go and see your mechanic. But be careful they like to take the mickey out of girls. Think we know nothing about cars.
It most likley got stuck on the wheel or the mud flap. If it was anymore serious like the sump plug, oil would be leaking out.
I ensure you cars are tough and it would have to be something really unusual to have caused any damage.

you may want to have your mechanic put your car up on a lift
and ask them to check the area under the car

be sure to to tell them about where the bucket entered

it may be nothing but a dent - or it may have knocked a little piece out of alignment - that if not caught now - could cau$e great repair$ later

best of luck

If the bucket was plastic maybe there will be some scratches on you vehicle underside. If it is metal then you will have to check whether it got caught on your suspension or some other components that are near the ground.

Was the bucket plastic or metal? If it was plastic, you just broke the bucket. If it was metal, you might want to check for leaks.

You should probably check underneath your car, but I doubt it did anything, but wouldnt hurt to check underneath.
