Well I just gave you your 14th star!!
What that means to me is that all the people that have chosen me as a contact will see on their page that I starred your question just like they would see if I was the one that asked a question.
Sometimes I just go through the list of questions of my contacts and what they have starred rather than go looking in th enormal public lists

They star your question if they like your question and think that it's a good question. How many questions have you asked? Maybe you haven't asked enough and maybe the ones that you have asked just didn't really catch anyone's eye.
