is the question 3/(7x) = 15, or (3/7)x = 15?
if it is 1) then 3 = 15*(7x)
3/15= 7x
3/(35*7) = x
hence x = 1/35
if 2) then x = 15/(3/7)
x = (7*15)/3
x = 35.

write as
3/7x=15/1, cross multiply
3*1 = 15*7x or
3 = 15*7x, divide both sides by 15*7, or
3/15*7 = x or
x = 1/5*7 = 1/35.
First answerer is WRONG.
You check it yourself.
