They're basically practice contractions. You're belly will tighten up like a contraction, but there's generally no pain. If I remember right, I started feeling them around 7 months. Some of mine were so strong I lost my breath for a sec.

they are premature contractions that are no where near the real ones but still hurt and they can be brought on by stress and over working your self. If you have them for too long or too often then you tell your Dr and they will give you a pill that is totally safe for the baby and can stop them befor they harm the baby or the prenancy.

Also known as "false labor". They are uterine contractions that occur before labor. Maybe weeks before labor.

They are "fake contractions". They prepare you for tha real ones. I'm not exactly sure when they occur, I have two babies with one on tha way, but I dont recall feeling them. I dunno, this is just me!
