i found an art supplemnent application for this college and it said
[[Music:
A résumé summarizing experience with instrument, voice and/or composition, giving years studied and awards received. You are
strongly encouraged to submit a 10-minute audio recording of a solo performance representing your abilities. Please give your
name, instrument/voice part, and work performed on the recording.]]
- For experiences, and awards… what sorts of things I can put??? I had played alto sax since the middle school… I was in this local orchestra called IAMS orchestra for 2 years (I might do this orchestra again this year) and have been volunteering at local hospitals, and elders house… I was in marching band 4 yr, jazz band 3yr, and symphonice band 2 yr… (would these be part of resume??) and also for awards part. Can I put awards like where band had gained??? Like the symphonic bands, you go play in SCSBOA competition and get graded, such as superior or excellent… would that considered too?help

I would ask a guidance counselor if you should put group awards on your application. My gut tells me that the awards section is for personal awards and experiences (accepted to state orchestra, first chair, for instance) and not group awards, which don't necessarily reflect your personal skill.

By the way, that supplement is most likely just for music majors, so if your are majoring in something else don't worry about it.
