Superman can have kids.

Referring to the movies. In Superman 2, Clark Kent turns into a human so he can be with Louis Lane. So the first thing that poped in his head is try what Superman can't do before, he did IT with Louis... Then five years later in Superman Returns, you see the result of that fateful night. What do you expect from a man and a woman all alone in The Fortress of Solitude deep in North Pole, they gotta find a way to keep warm right???

Think about it. What woman could hold up to the insemination from Superman...and besides, he's "faster than a speeding bullet" and if she could handle the stress on her body, chances are it would explode her Fallopian tubes.

I figure the only way Superman could father a child would be if Wonder Woman were the mother. And the last I heard, the two of them weren't speaking...(I heard it's got something to do the Golden Lasso being found in The Thing's apartment).

Don't lose too much sleep over this. Superman gets his kicks on Route 66. :)

The latest version of Superboy would seem to confirm that Superman could indeed reproduce with humans, unless for some reason he suffers from infertility. I know, Superboy is not technically the son of Superman, but he was cloned using a combination of Superman's & Lex Luthor's genetic material. If that were possible, it would indicate Kryptonian DNA is compatible with that of humans, & that some form of reproduction could occur, even if it had to occur from artificial insemination. Such a fetus could be carried to term by a human female, as the child would not be born with Superman's powers. The child would have to absorb enough solar radiation to get to Superman's levels, so such a child would start out just like a human baby. It wouldn't be until later in life, when he had absorbed enough yellow solar radiation that he would begin to demonstrate his powers.

On a side note, here's something to ponder. The evidence mentioned before would indicate that humans could reproduce with Kryptonians. As any Dragonball Z fan knows, humans have reproduceed with Saiyans on several occasions. Following that line of logic, it would seem likely Saiyan & Kryptonian DNA would be compatible. Can you imagine a child with the powers of a Saiyan & a Kryptonian? Scary, huh?

He can't keep anyone close. If the enemy finds out he has a child then he risks losing the people he loves. Superman is the man. He probably has kids all over the world that know one knows about. Lol!

Because Kryptonian's have 48 chromosomes and humans have 46. If Superman wanted kids he would have to bread with either a chimp or a gorilla.

I'm gonna be the realist. Superman can't have kids because the original creators of Supermann said so. Just like the Hulk is Green and not blue, so on and so forth. You can read into fiction too much. It is just that simple. The writer said so...and so it is......
I love good fiction, but ya gotta stop somewhere.

hey. i'm not an absolute superman fan or anything but my dad is super into comics. he told me before that superman does end up having children. it just so happens that he doesn't have the kid with louise lane. check it out. i don't know on which volume of the comic it came out. i think it happened after louise died.
again, i am not an absolute superman fan.

properly young infants do no longer care approximately wrestling strikes or abilities, they only care with regard to the historic past, they have have been given Cena the hero ! btw,, I undergo in recommendations back then while he did the SpineBuster, Drop kick, and different sturdy strikes i purely won't have the capacity to undergo in recommendations as he performs in basic terms 5 strikes for the reason that 2005 !! so we gained't say he won't have the capacity to try against besides. And speaking of nWo's merchandizes being offered like loopy,, dude in basic terms adults who understand !! offered their merchandizes, yet now if Cena turns heel (which i might choose to work out take place) young infants who won't have the capacity to appreciate won't care approximately Cena and his stuff anymore !

He has children with Wonder Woman in Frank Miller's "The dark Knight Strikes Back". He can't have kids with Lois Lane because he doesn't know how her body would handle his alien dna.

The classic essay by Larry Niven, Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex just about says it all. You should be able to find it on line.
