Geez, man, that's a tough one! Seriously. First, you have the PETA nuts, who do things like throwing paint on people's fur coats (why we never hear about some paint covered husband of a fur-wearing woman beating the snot out of a PETA painter is beyond me). I also just read a story about people stealing a rabbit from a bunch of preschoolers & leaving PETA flyers in the cage to protest Ringling Brothers! Of course, PETA is denying any involvement in that one, & saying they don't endorse stealing rabbits from toddlers, but they sure aren't buying the kids a new rabbit, are they? They aren't taking responsibility for the screwed-up thoughts they put in people's heads every day with their crusades to stop people from eating Kentucky Fried Chicken, buying leather couches, wearing leather jackets, taking their children to zoos & circuses, & generally making the majority of people think they are nonsensical whackjobs! Honestly, as an all-American, meat-eating, leather-wearing guy, it makes no sense to me why PETA tries to impose their beliefs on everyone else.
Speaking of making no sense, let's look at Jesse Jackson's latest escapade, the support of a group of guys from Jena, Louisiana? Let's actually look at what he's endorsing, shall we? He is backing 6 cowards who ganged up on one guy & beat him to a bloody pulp; 6-on-1 doesn't take a bit of courage. Oh, & why does he justify their actions? Because some guys put ropes in a tree!?! What does that say for our country today when someone will actually say people putting ropes in a tree justifies 6 guys bludgeoning 1 to bits? I haven't heard if the guy who was beaten was involved in putting nooses in a tree, but if he was, so what? The nooses were insulting, but they sure didn't send anyone to the hospital. No one was swinging from them. Good Lord, people do that where I live every year as Halloween decorations! Does Jesse Jackson think gangs of thugs should go around beating all them up, too? Jesse, & another annoyance named Al Sharpton, need to look at exactly what they endorse, instead of the color of what they endorse. I guarantee you, if the situations were reversed, Jesse Jackson would have seen no problem with black people hanging white puppets from nooses in trees, & would have been calling for the maximum penalty for 6 white guys beating a black guy! That's what truly makes him a hypocrite!
In the end, I suppose Jackson annoys me more, because while PETA endorses vandalism, he is endorsing assault & battery, attempted murder, & (this one would floor him) hate crimes against caucasians. Yes, if we're going to call it a hate crime every time someone is beaten up for being of a different race or ethnicity, then this fits the definition perfectly!

Oh wow thats a tough one.
I would have to say PETA but Jesse Jackson runs a close second.
The only person that annoys me more than Jesse Jackson would be Al sharpton... it has nothing to do with their race. Just that Al is a publicity hound. Any tragedy involving a black person that makes it to the news AL magically appears and makes sure he is in the spotlight. Jesse Jackson isn't much better.

Gee, I like them both. Why support cruelty to animals? Animals have feelings, they feel pain and fear and they don't deserve to be hurt. Some people are, as the Japanese phrase it, shiri no ana, they are cruel to animals, they need to be stopped and PETA does a good job of that. God Bless Peta. And God Bless Jesse Jackson, too. He is a fine human being. No, he is not always right, but who is? Our Black brothers and sisters have been abused and disadvantaged for hundreds of years, it is a shame and a disgrace and it needs to be corrected, and Rev. Jackson has always been a bold leader in correcting this past evil. Thanks for your question.

Jesse Jackson and I am not racist. I just get tired of some of the causes that he seems to come forward to preach about in the news. Sometimes I find it offensive on the reverse and sometimes it seems as a power thing to enhance "HIM" not any real cause.

Jesse Jackson, he's basically an opportunist who pops up whenever there are cameras around.
PETA, on the other hand, likes attention too but are mainly just trying to stick up for the rights of animals who cannot speak for themselves.

PETA
They are hypocrites and they would do ANYTHING to try to get people to see things the way they see them. Not everyone is going to agree with them. I read the article about them taking some school pets what the hell? I understand that they are taking up for animals who can't speak for themselves but they go too far sometimes. Its ridiculous...They should understand that not everyone agrees with them and they can't make everyone dis their fur coats, purses, etc. because they don't like it. They hurt more than they help and always stur up controversy to be in the eye of the media.
