Dookie: You have it almost right. yankee fans are excluded because their answers are without any thought or intelligence and they are boring and predictable. So, you almost got it right.

For me I would be proud to wear a Reds uniform, great city and home of the first professional bball team.
Athletics, in 3 cities always a reputation for progressiveness and zaniness.
Dodgers, have been through the mill and changed bball in 1947.
Indians for the same reason as Dodgers.
Cubs, charter member of NL, great city, great tradition.
Orioles, home of Babe Ruth and formerly the Browns
Brewers because I live there, great fans
But I would be most proud to wear the Birds on the Bat. Not just because I lived in St. L most of my life, but because it is one of the oldest continuing baseball cities and has the greatest tradition for winning enthusiasm and fair play.

St. Louis Cardinals. Because I'm from the Midwest and they're THE team there. Great fans. Great winning tradition. It's all about baseball there and not curses, old stadiums or anything else.

i would be proud to wear many of the unifroms including all of the Al excluding the Yankees, Devil Rays, Orioles, Royals, and Rangers. The Yankees try to buy World Series Championships, the other teams just don't seem to know how to be run. In the NL I would never wear a Giants uniform, or the Reds, or Nationals. The Giants resigning Barry Bonds last season and not for this next season shows they were just signing him to make the money generated from his chase of Hank Aaron's all time home run record (which he actually earned unlike Bonds), The Reds have the talent but can't seem to figure out how to put it together to form a winning team. And I just don't know what to say about the Nats..... they just plain old suck for some reason. This all just my opinion, what do i know, im not getting paid millions of dollars a year to put a winning team together.

That is a good question, and I really do wish that I can have a good answer that you will even buy, no matter if I am selling it or not. But if you do look at other sports, you don't see the head coach of the team, wearing thier teams' unifrom/jersey, rather they jsut where a suit and tie. And I can't if you can't tie a tie very good, this is not the job for you. But it just seems to be a tration for MLB mangersfor even mangers in film or even minor leagues to wear the unifrom then wearing a suit, and some people might think that don't look as good in a suit.

What do YOU think? Where do you think all those boys dreamed of playing if they were so lucky to get in the Show? Your jealously is showing and you may need some therapy if it makes its way into other areas of your life. I am serious, considering you exclude Yankee fans from a baseball question.
The New York Yankees is your answer for me, just like anyone outside Boston, Chicago, St. Louis, and maybe Detroit who passes all their drug tests. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, dog. For the record, I live in Central Florida so I am a... gulp... Rays fan, but there IS not pride like Yankee pride.

Baltimore Orioles
Simple fact that Baltimore is baseball city USA. Although we haven't had a winning record in almost a decade, we still believe. Besides, Our last ALCS (1996 I believe), We got robbed of going to the world Series by a Yankee fan.

Red Sox. The team I grew up with. Imagine the pain Mike Pagliarullo, the Yankee infielder from the 80s who was from the Boston area.

Cleveland Indians...they are one of the 4 remaining original teams in the American League that has never moved, has suffered and has still built a new stadium for thier fans, tried to build from the inside up, and hang on to thier mascot no matter what anyone else says...and this bunch of 2007 Tribe players are some of the scrappiest to come along in the majors in a long time...CLEVELAND ROCKS!!!
