The pants sound fine. Does the V-Neck have a collar? If it does, then yes. I'd stick with a golf shirt type of shirt or a polo shirt for this crowd. I'm assuming this is a work event or a networking event, you'll still want to impress in this situation. Sport Jacket is optional--depends on the temp where you are right now. If you are still in summer like weather, then skip the jacket. If you are into fall temps now, then add it.

I'm sorry, I just made the sexist assumption that you are male. If you are female, that sounds fine, but seriously because of double standards in the business world, I would dress up a little bit more. Slacks, blouse and jacket as per your individual style. I have found that even when business casual is stated, I was always taken more seriously and professionally when I was in a suit rather than business casual.

3 Golden rules: 1. If you want the job, look the part., 2. If you want the promotion, look promotable., and 3: If you want respect then dress as well or better than your industry standards. The primary rule for business casual for me was that everyone should be comfortable in that nobody was over nor underdressed to the point everyone else was uncomfortable.

I agree with brainrot. I could care less if it is business casual, it is better to over-dress than look sloppy. Especially in front of the type of people you say will be there.

The outfit you describe sounds good. Add a jacket or blazer to be on the safe side.

If you are female, that sounds appropriate. If you are male, you might want to add a necktie. A sportcoat can be worn on top of what you proposed.
