Ok so one day, a teenage kid and his project partner goes to the school library to work on their project. however, one of the librarians believe they are too noisy and tells them to be quiet while everyone else is loud. The kid and his partner eventually calms down, but the friend of teenage kid punches him in groin. Therefore he moans. When the librarian hears the moaning, she force the teenage kid and his partner out of the library and threatens for a one week ban. The kid tries to explain his situation, but is eventually kicked out of the library. Is this an unfair punishment taken by school librarian? If so, what options can the kid take to get justice?

The friend of the teenage kid who punched the other teenager male in the groin commited an assault of bodily harm and if it caused bodily damage the kid who did the punching, his parents could get sued and/or the teenager who did the punching could get sentenced to public service and/or probration with having to take anger management classes.

The witness would be the teenagers partner, who he was working on the project and they should take this to the principal.

It is an unfair punishment by the school librarian, but how does the school librarian know the young man was hit in the groin area? The school librarian did not ask why the young man was moaning, she just followed procedure in telling the two teenagers to leave the library, if not the librarian could get a written notice for not following procedure and this could go into her personnel file, which is not a good thing.

Justice is fairness. What would be fair?

Respect for other individuals who are studying in the library.
Respect for the two teenage boys who are working on the project.
Respect for the librarian, who has no choice but to do his/her job.

What was unfair, was the young man who punched the other young man in the groin. He owes the young man, who he punched in the groin an apology and should never, ever do that again.

The librarian was right to toss the kid. The kid and the project partner were being disruptive as a team. Let's take it another step. If the kid was with a project partner and the project partner decided to rob a store and the kid stayed with him while he did it, the kid would be arrested and charged as though he robbed the store as well. The kid should probably figure out somewhere else to finish his project because arguing won't solve anything in this case.

Awww, cmon, you lost one day in the library. IF (and that's a big if) everything is as you say here, the librarian overreacted. But we all go through unfair situations. And you have to learn to pick your battles. This one is not worth getting worked up about.

I hope once you calm down you'll realize that making a big deal out of this is just going to make your life miserable. I say kill her with kindness. The next time you go to the library, be extra kind to her.

Sounds like a case of strict liability. The rule is to be quiet in the library and if you weren't quiet, no matter what the reason, you get banned. The same rule applies to seatbelt laws and parking tickets. There is no defense. If you are in violation of it, you pay the fine.
