This person is going to be losing their home soon and because of the MS hasn't been working. Any ideas? She has very little to no money and has no family. She is a positive thinker but reality just sucks. She doesn't require anything special her Dr's are in chicago so she would like to stay close. She has never been in any shelter and I really don't think she will survive one.

I checked into shelters and they said no because of the MS.

Her boyfriend asked her to leave because she was to much work for him and he wanted a life. She understands his position so she is trying to find something by months end so she isnt on the streets.

Sorry, She is 35 lives in Illinois has worked all her life except for the last year and no she doesn't get any benifits. She was denied and told to re apply in 5 years. She walks with a limp and has major facial trauma but could do a desk job. She does not drive.

Thanks for the links. I am trying to help her as much as I can. It kills me, she is so nice but she just understands that this is it for her. She believes in God and says she knows he had this planned for her but I can't help to think that she has suffered enough.

You didnt mention her age.

Does she get disability benefits/ Social Security? http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Disability+benefits

There are some things you should help her check into.

Does she have insurance? Medicaid/Medicare?http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=Medicaid/Medicare%3F&spell=1

If she does you could check into Independent Living homes.

Find out as much as you can and do your best to help her get any of the listed things I mentioned for assistance.
Good Luck, faith
