I was at Valley Fair this one day. And i noticed this 12 year old with As$ shorts on. With a tummy Ring and a shirt that would fit a 6year old. And i thought to myself "If I was her my daddy would beat my as$".
Word Of Advice: Their are many other ways to show guys that You are beautiful. Letting it all hang out is just letting guys know what u have. Dont you wanna make them just wonder?

This is just my opinion. What do you guys think about this?

I agree with you 100% on this. I met a woman at a friends house. This woman had her daughter with her. To look at this girl, I would have taken her for 19 or 20 years old. Come to find out this kid was only 12 years old! She had the low cut top, push up bra, skin tight jeans, finger nails, huge hoop earings, heels and makeup that would sink the Titantic all over again. I couldn't believe my eyes to think this kid was only 12. Then, the mother says she's afraid to let the kid walk home from school, library or a friend's house alone. Go figure! If I dressed like that when I was 12, I would have been beaten so bad by both my parents. Makes me so glad I never had girls.

I guess anything flies in this messed up world today.

You're right... Sadly, when all 12-year-old girls have to choose from is being an easy woman like Paris Hilton, being a druggie like Lindsay Lohan, and being easy AND a druggie like Britney Spears, dressing in "as$ shorts" and those skimpy shirts is one of the BEST things they can do.

Once CNN starts reporting relevant news, though, instead of what Paris bought her dog or who Britney slept with or how much coke Lindsay snorted, things will (hopefully) change.

wow I totally agree 100%. Most girls now think they have to show skin to be beautiful and that isn't the case at all. Whatever happend to being smart and educated and classy? Now that is beautiful. I have a 5 year old daughter and she would never ever ever be allowed to leave the house in that garb. I'm teaching her to be respectful of her body and others will too

Hmm.... try to get a good job and live in Manhattan or Brooklyn. Its a great place to live or visit. I love in Connecticut and i often visit the city. It is MUCH cheaper to live in CT and its only 1/2 an hour or 25 minutes away so you could work in NYC and pull in big money and take the train back to the Stamford area to live.

I am a lady, not so young, but even I knew at a young age, that it was better for a young man to want to know what I had than to just have it all out there for the entire world to see. I also knew, even at a young age, that if I had it all out there for the entire world to stare at, I would be looking like a prostitute and I didn't want to seem to appear that way to anyone. I wanted to keep some special things for my future husband.

I agree completely.
And it is very hard as a mother when there is so much bad influences around. The problem also is that little girls are not even thinking of boys, they just think it looks cute because they see older girls wear it.
Its the people looking at them you have to worry about.

That's sad. I was fortunate to have a mother that bought all my clothes and made sure my clothes were appropriate enough to leave the house in at that age. The worst thing I did was sneak make up on when I was younger.

Slutty looking little girls tend to turn into slutty acting teenagers and then battle worn 20 somethings.
The attention may be fun when you are young, but later on, no guy really wants the trash.
If you think you can change later to be the kind of girl that guys respect, forget about it - you'll always be a tramp that guys won't feel the need to respect.
Parents who don't deal with this are really hurting their daughters.

Agreed! I hate seeing little girls in adult clothing.. Why sell that in kids sizes anyway.. My mumma and papa would never have let me go out in that let alone buy it for me.. There are many other ways to show guys how gorgeous you are... But at a really young age why worry anyway!

I agree with you 100%
I have two daughters and it scares me! I try to teach them right, but just look at the stuff on TV and those god awful BRATZ dolls! That`s the kind of example they get! Disgusting, if you ask me! And why do they even SELL low rise jeans and low rise underwear for 4 year olds? No kidding, I saw that at Wal-Mart.
I like dressing my kids Punk-Rock, but never like little prostitutes!
