:):) Life has a way of changing your path. Life happens- when I was young I wanted to be a psychiatrist or a doctor - then my father died, and so did my dream. When I was older, then I wanted to be an engineer, then my grandmother died, and so did my desire to continue my education.

Then I wanted to join the peace corp, and had my son. From there I took care of my neices and my mom too. Couldn't work the good paying jobs because I had to be home. Taking care of my family stopped me. Never married, didn't finish my education, didn't play like everyone else.

Am I bitter - no, life is to short. I never regret taking care of my mom - it was meant to be. I'm finishing my education now, and maybe I will find the right man and marry.

Life gives you curves, it's up to you to roll with it, and not let it get you down!

I've been alone for a very long time, well it felt that way. I really was never alone - I always had my family. Funny, feeling so alone when there was always a house full of people.

ALL BY MYSELF

When I was young
I never needed anyone
And making love was just for fun
Those days are gone
Livin' alone
I think of all the friends I've known
When I dial the telephone
Nobody's home

All by myself
Don't wanna be
All by myself
Anymore

Hard to be sure
Sometimes I feel so insecure
And loves so distant and obscure
Remains the cure

All by myself
Don't wanna be
All by myself
Anymore

All by myself
Don't wanna be
All by myself
Anymore

When I was young
I never needed anyone
Making love was just for fun
Those days are gone

All by myself
Don't wanna be
All by myself
Anymore

All by myself
Don't wanna live
Oh
Don't wanna live
By myself, by myself
Anymore
By myself
Anymore
Oh!
All by myself
Don't wanna live
I never, never, never
Needed anyone

Getting married at age of 17...having 7 pregnancies before age of 25, with only 2 live births ( 2 dead sons) and the husband being a mean, abusive alcoholic, who refused to work, leaving me the responsibility of having to hold down a job and raising my 2 children, while trying to avoid being beat on.

NOTHING! I am still going strong towards my goals and always will, as long as I can breath, eat and sleep. If for some reason I am unable to do any of the above things, then I will consider myself, dead and worm food!
