I am looking into buying new wheels and tires for my '85 LaSabre. I found a wheel I like, but it said it was designed for 4-wheel drive vehicals. Can I still put these wheels on my car? (my car is not 4-wheel drive)

4 wheel drive equipment is supposed to be built stronger.
You need to check that if you car has disk brake that the wheels will fit over them and bolt up. Then with the tire mounted on the axles that the front wheel will have clearance to turn and miss the body. On the rear check wheel clearance
Too. Also do not forget any offset.

First of all the front wheel might make contact with the struts. The inset of the wheel might cause a problem also b/c 4 wheel drive trucks have different insets.
You can buy a set of custome crome wheels for a reasonable price you can go to advanced auto parts and they have custome wheels and they have custom wheels for under five hundred dollars and they will fit your car properly.

If the bolt diameter is the same, they will fit. Since the wheels are designed for 4WD, that usually implies a truck. The 5-bolt Ford rims will not fit a GM car and GM trucks are usually a 6-bolt pattern.

Check that the wheels you like are not 6-lug fitting only,I think you'll find your car is 'only' 5 lug ' It could also have something to do with the centre of the wheels having clearance for diff-locks etc.

As long as the size and the bolt pattern are ok I don't see why not.
