How long does it usually take an talent agent to call you back if they like your headshot and want to meet with you to discuss more? I know they get hounded by headshots everyday but when I called a few they said they do open them so it's a good chance they will see almost everyone of them. I don't know how long it usually it takes for them to review them considering they must receive hundreds a day. So if anyone knows please tell me! A week? Or two weeks? If they didn't like it, then when should one stop waiting and send their photos to others?

But if they DO like your photo and feel like they can use you, then when will they call? Within days of receiving the photo or a week later? If anyone hs ever been an agent who did open the photos how long did you wait to call that person? And did you open the mail everyday?How long did it usually take you to open a days' worth of photos? And if they like you but they have enough peope they are representing, are they going to call you anyway to add you to thei agency? Legitimate answers only please!

A Talent Agent will only contact an actor if they can use his/her type on their Agency Client List, otherwise, they will not call.
Do NOT follow-up with them, unless you are performing in a production that you want the agents to attend.
Mail "comps" to the agents so they do not have to pay to see your play.
Every agency is different. If you want to mail headshots to another agency, do so.

it depends, they have lots of choices to make so it depends on the person, they could make their mind up strait away and phone you immediately, or they could have a hard decision and take months.
