Comparing to, say, the 1900's, do you think you are happier in the new millenium?

I love your question! I don`t think that I would have liked to live in ANY other era! I don`t mean the 80`s or 90`s. I`m talking Centuries. I would not like to live in the 19 Century or the Middle ages. (I probably have though,...but who knows...?)

I happen to think 1977 was a great year....it was the year I was born. I loved growing up in the 80's (VH1's I loved the 80's brought back alot of good memories).
The new millenium I feel has a lot of technological advances that really make life fun and easier but the world seems a lot scarier now then it did when I was growing up.

Um...I am not immortal nor am I 107.
I have no idea. I think times are much more complicated today. Losing democracy, sexual predators,...today kind of sucks. But it depends who you ask and where you are.
Yeah the early part of last century really terrible for those living in the south (Blacks) and the 1930-1940's were horrid in Eastern Europe for most.
Grass is never greener, times are never better the farther in the future we go. The only improvement is the entertainment is much more (quantity WAY over quality) and healthcare and creature comforts.
But as society goes...downhill

i grew up in the 60's and 70's wild times but most people were well mannered and would say hello now they would rather give you the middle finger its hard to say which time was better life is hard but also alot of great things happen

I think I was happier then. I was a teen so I didn't really have many problems. NOTHING like now that is.
