Slope is basically the vertical distance gained over the horizontal distance travelled.
So if you draw a triangle in the co-ordinate plane, you get
slope = tan A where A is the inclination
So,
Ans = tan 30 = 1/sqrt(3)
PS- It is also advisable to check the sign of the slope. For eg. for a 30 degree slope the line would resemble an ascent - climbing vertically with horizontal distance. We define positive slope for this
