I am a nudist at heart. I found a nude beach not far from where I live. I told my wife about it and she said there is no way she will go. I want to go. I told my wife that although I want her to go with me, I understand if she doesn't want to go, but please don't hold me back. It's not like it's a swinger club or anything. It's a public beach where people just don't wear clothes. You get a sun tan, swim, relax and enjoy being natural. I invited my wife so I'm not hiding anything. I just want to try it and I don't think I should have to hold back on something harmless that I want to do just because she won't do it.

More details. I don't want to go to a beach to look at naked people. That's not it. I would be happier if nobody else was there. It's about feeling free. Both me and my wife go skinny dipping at home in our pool at night, but I want the sun and the warmth. Would it be wrong if I went and didn't tell her? No harm done then.

I agree. If you want to go, go. There's nothing wrong with it, and like you said, it's not a sexual thing.
You and your wife don't have to enjoy ALL of the same things. You're still 2 different people, and sometimes you have different needs. Nothing wrong with that.

Blake a lot of these beaches I understand don't allow just males to attend so you'd have to check out there first if you need an escort. There are so many males that would go just to view the eye candy, that is why some have this policy in effect. I know that there is a nude beach near where we live also and my wife has told me on many occassions that you'd never see her there. I personally would not go without her, but that is just me as I wouldn't feel right about it. If I want to be a naturalist I can do so in the backyard or some other spot that has nobody around in order to get that all around tan. If you know that your going there may upset your wife then the consequences that follow you should be aware of also. Good luck in making your decision.

My take on it:
Going to a nude beach is 100% okay.
Going to a nude beach without your wife WITH her consent is okay.
Going to a nude beach, without your wife and against her wishes is not okay.
Obviously though, she has some issues with going, it may be body image or sexual repression issues where she feels it's a sin or something, or it may just be that she feels insecure about herself and therefore thinks you'll find someone you think is more attractive and leave her, so by protecting you from the nude beach she is protecting herself. Make sense?
Either way, she just shouldn't say 'no', she should be able to express to you why she is saying 'no', or you're just going to resent her because she has told 'no' without explaining her objections.

Only you truly know what is in your heart about this. Are you really into being a nudie or are you going for a sexual thrill? If it's totally innocent and you just want to be nude and let it all hang out and your not going to check out T & A, then I don't see anything wrong with it. However, if deep down you know you are going for the T & A or some kind of sexual thrill don't go because you are married and it's not right. Only you know however what your true feelings are.

and she said????? Frankly I have an issue with this sort of thing...did she say she felt it was not proper behavior for a married man? Did she have any clue you were a nudist at heart, or did she think this was a part of your past never to be brought up again? I think you should respect your wife's feelings above your own desires, exactly HOW important is going to the nude beach vs. how much trouble will it cause in your marriage?....perhaps give in to your nudist tendancies at home....LOL

Have you gone to nude beaches before and during your courtship with her? Or is this a "new" passion/hobby?
If you attended them before and she knew and just doesn't want to part take. Strip down and enjoy your natural state of being.
If this is all new, quite a big "surprise" to reveal after marriage this should have been shared before the big day.

Have no idea why it's SO important for you to go..If your wife objects than forget the idea. Why cause a big feud with her over this dumb thing? Look there's just some things we might like to do, but now that we're married it just isn't the right thing anymore..If you were single and wanted to go, no problem..If your wife would go with you, no problem. Going alone.. NOT.. Find something else she would like to do with you..

Probably the majority that you'll see there are guys anyway and she shouldn't be jealous. (and the majority of the ladies there are in their 60's) She could still go and wear a bikini. There are usually quieter parts of the beach and she could surprise you!! My X took me and I swore I wouldn't take my clothes off. I did and it was nice. No one judges and no one cares! I say go for it , and maybe she'll change her mind out of curiosity.

If your wife is okay with you doing it then she should do it. Maybe you can take her with you. Just because its a nude beach doesnt mean she has to go nude. It all depends on what she is going to be comfortable with.

Most women are cautious about their body, their looks, their B**B size ---Shape---- and if all the above is ok they dont want their man to view any other nude women.
So i think you shouldn't go alone, there is no point going alone because that would mean you went to see other women and thats definitely going to offend your wife
