Probably because people don't like to get stuff thrown at them, especially stuff that can open up and contain stickiness.
And that was pretty idiotic to throw a MOON PIE at someone. Because, as everyone knows, Dads LOVE getting sticky stuff thrown at there face.
Idiotic choice yah made there I must say.

In HS. My sister paid a couple of her friends to ride past me and throw twinkies at me. I was wearing a white pant suit. Good thing it happened after school. But I baked all the way home in 110 degree heat. Needless to say, my Mom wasn't happy that the silk was ruined. It was Mom's new blouse. I left everything on it for Mom when she got home.

Dang straight
in some parts of the South
that is considered an act of war !!
(not necessarily as an act of aggression -- but an act of
irresponsibly endangering a perfectly good dessert !! )

I don't know... it's never happened. Well, I think as long as you didn't throw it real hard or in a way to be mean I wouldn't. It depends on what mood I am in, who it is, and what not. I think I'd either eat it or throw it back at you... and say "Gotcha!". I would not throw anything to or at my dad... especially if you live in his house. Respect your dad... and mom too.

Well, that's quite a philosophical question. Let me answer with another question:
Would you get mad if someone buttshagged you right up the pooper? Because I did that to my dad and he got really angry.

depends on the flavor. No, something like that cannot be answered without you telling exactly why, what was going on, what kind of mood you're father was in, and what kind of behaviour you're known for.

depends on who it was, and the context around the throwing. Was it mad or playful?
