You can achieve a lot with better means of communication.

One day we may all vanish from the face of the earth like the giant dinosaurs with all our pride and there will be no history books or monuments to tell our story.

What we would have accomplished then with all our loudest claims.

First, it's an area where culture clash is an everyday occurance. It is the cradle of civilization, and integral to three of the world's major religions. This causes tension. Someone is always 'the bad guy' in the Middle East. Religious extremism is the norm. Zealots abound.

Second, it's rich in oil. This gives them a disproportionate amount of power, when compared to other nations of thier size.

It's the same with other people of other nationalities. Some assume that all Americans love Bush when this isn't the case. I'm a Brit and I can't stand the sight of Gordon Brown, least of all his policies!

Assuming that Iranians are hell bent on jihad and bombing everyone else may be a bit inaccurate. Why not ask an Iranian themself and not the President?

people tend to generalize. Its a defensive mechanism that helps because in truth nobody can know who is out to get who and thinking that a certain group of people are the enemy narrows their field of incorrectness. Its like if you have three glasses filled with liquid and one is labeled "poision" but the others could also be poison. its comforting to know that you can elminate at least one possibility. However, things are often mislabled and people often forget this.

What do you think? Could it be that they are demonised in the media and pursued by the authorities? Might it be that their spiritual counterparts in their previously invaded countries have been acting like unrestrained savages, seemingly to justify our national paranoia?

Give us a break! We can't pick on the Blacks any more, and there are too many Latinos for us to pick on them. The Chinese would get very nasty if we went after their ethnic fellows, and the Jews are the best friends we have. Who else is left?

So join the posse! Head them off at the pass! If we can't get the ones who actually did something, we can lynch the one we do get for the encouragement of the others. It does seem to encourage them, too.

Why is this question posted again and again. Haven't there been enough answers to it, they are not being bullied, i wish we had no dealings at all with Iran, Iraq, at all, leave them to sort out their own mess.

They slam a few planes into buildings and kill a few thousand people and they are the ones being bullied???
