Depending on how the system is set up, maybe not. A few years back while I was in Thailand, I found that the nationally owned phone system was so hard to get a phone from that phones were sold with the home or the business site, without changing the number or the listing. So there were two sets of directories: the official one that was pretty worthless and the unofficial ones that you paid to be listed in so people could find you. If the same situation exists in Nepal, then your chances are pretty small. You might search the internet for the phone number and see if the person has posted it in some way.

If you know the name of the person, then you can search their phone number in .. http://www.ntc.net.np/telsearch.php and if you want the name of the company then go for http://nepalhomepage.com/yellowpages/

Hope this information was useful.
