Is Michael Vick an icky creep?

Now he's defaulted on a $5 Million loan, he kills dogs, invests in creepy schemes, and seems to like being a "gangsta". I am friends with two black men and neighbors to three African/American families. Nobody I know sympathizes with Vick, whatsoever. He's a creep, unless you're a gangster. In which case there's no wonder about your bitterness and racial hatred. I do not understand ANY support for Michael Vick. To me, he's just a twisted black man that thinks being "cool" is more important than being human.

Another thing..Would you trust him with your daughter, or your niece, or your nephew or your kids? I Don't Think so...

And dont use the "in other countries" argument. We dont EAT dogs, or do "other things" in the U.S. Just because Nazi's slaughtered Jews in "another country" doesn't make it okay.

I don't care whether he's black, white, or purple - what he did classifies him as a creep - yes, an icky one at that! Having money or being a football "star" does not mean you don't have to treat all living beings with respect. Read some studies - there have been many which point to the high probability that there is a connection between abuse of animals and domestic violence. Many men who abuse their ladies also have abused animals at some point in their lives. There may be exceptions, but from everything I've read, that is usually the case, which makes him worse than "icky" in my book.

Just because I want Vick to turn his life around so we will have one less bad person in our society, makes me a creep lol? So some of your friends are black, WOW, big deal. So what, your not racist, if so why don't you refer to him as a "twisted person" instead of a "twisted black man" Its people like you that really get on my nerves. Rather than hoping to see someone turn their life around, you want to continue to chastise them and hope for the worst for him, in that case YOU are no better than him! The only sympathy I have is why did he CHOOSE to put himself in that position. You are a celebrity, if you do something like this you are going to face a firestorm of protest. I don't think Vick is a victim ( the dogs were) but don't label me as a "creep" or "thug" because I want someone to get some help! I was a bit embarrassed by the supporters, but I feel they were just really emotionally.

I don't think you had to say TWISTED BLACK man. In general he's a twisted individual no what what his ethnicity is, and I agree, what he did was disgusting and he should be embarrassed of what he has done and has not lost; basically his entire life has been seriously thrown to the completely opposite side of the field. I am glad he's going to jail, and that he's cruel and inhumane for torturing animals to death.

Anyhow, he's getting what he deserves and I have no sympathy for him. In response to your question, "Is Michael Vick and icky creep?" I wouldn't necessarily a creep, but a very inhumane individual who will pay for what he did. Just inmoral and unsympathetic for animals and thinks just because he had all this money and was famous can get away with such acts.

Vick was probably a better person when he had nothing,money seems to make persons, especially persons with small brains like Vick do things that are against society,being wealthy to persons like him makes them feel they are above the law.it's kind of a sad state of affairs when youngsters look up to him as an idol and see no fault at what he has done

I agree. Did you see that majority thug crowd shouting down all that disagreed with them at the 'town meeting'? Those guys must have feared for their lives. It was good to some black people stand up to the thugs and condemn Vick's behavior though. What bothers me the most is how racist blacks in Atlanta are. They talked about the 'Mt. Rushmore' of black sports heroes. Most white people have both black and white sports heroes, but the racist blacks in Atlanta obviously only like black sports stars. Atlanta's biggest sports success has been the Braves who have been the best team in baseball over the last 15 years. The HOF quality stars have been white (Glavine, Maddox, C. Jones, Smoltz) so black Atlanta does not embrace them. Is there any other city that is so racist? I think Dr. King would roll over in his grave at this site!

He is no more or less a creep than the other scandalous celebs out there, like Kobe and R. Kelly. Oh, and the millionaire rappers that are constantly in the courtrooms aren't a very great contribution to humanity, either. They have plundered living things with their power. We only hear about a fraction of what they do.

Yes but don't just include blacks that act like this. I think "twisted scumbag" is more accurate along with his loser cohorts. His recent actions in testing positive for drugs is just the icing on the cake. He has a short memory. The judge who will sentence him in December is a hard a.. and this positive test is more fuel on the fire for a longer sentence. What a worthless loser.

NO! there are Pol out there who dog fight every day and to get on Vick the way they do, they are dead wrong. then these guys who turned on Vick. come on look at their records. u have no convincing evidence. no video no nothing. i ain't no gangster. and i ain't a fan of dog fight in. but I'm a fan of Vick and i hope he keeps his head up.
