Let's say a friend of a friend from my softball team thinks i hooked up with this guy, and done some things with him, if you know what i mean. I told her NO but. Then she goes around behind my back and tells people what I’ve done with him. EVEN THOU I NEVER DID IT!!! I don't even have a boyfriend, so anywayyyyssss..... I STARTED A NASTY RUMOR TO GET BACK AT HER AND NOW SHE IS JUST SPREADING MORE!! Even worst things….you can only imagine. Is there any stop to this madness, of a world we live in!?!?!?!

A rumour was spread about you, and you decide to spread one back? That never works. Ever. All you can do is stop and ignore her. You know the truth, and your friends (your closest friends) know the truth. All you can do is admit you started a rumour to get back at her (admitting you were immature is a VERY mature thing) and then move on from there. Be non-chalant about it, be like yea..I made a stupid rumour up, but at least I stopped, SHE'S still going, how dumb is that! It's very hard to pretend to not let things bother her, but her opinion and her words don't make you who you are.

She probably started more rumors about you because you started one after she started one about you. um, that did not make any sense. But if you just ignore everything she is saying about you she will get bored once there is no motivation. It's like teasing a dog with a steak in front of his face when you know he will never actually get it. Once the dog is no longer interested in actually retaining the steak, you're just an idiot with a wet steak in your hand and it no longer matters to you if the dog gets it. She will move on if you just back off and let her cool off and move on.
