If you are in your 30's, have a teenage son, work full-time, would you do this to your significant other or want it done to you? Is this a way for a grown woman to mark her territory even though the husband is already wearing a wedding ring? Let me know your opinion. I personally think it's immature and not my idea of hot and wild sex.

I'm sorry, but a hickey on an adult is very tacky! If your going to give someone a hickey, do it somewhere that cannot be seen.

It sort of sends the wrong message out to the public. I didn't even like it when I was a teenager, it always came off as tacky. Maybe the person that has the hickey, and gave the hickey, don't seem bothered by it, unless it's your body or your mouth there isn't much you can do about it.

I personally think is very immature and so low for someone to show off in a "slutty" way. There is this person from work, he is married, has a child and wears his wedding ring, but not only that, he walks around with hickeys all over his neck. My grandma used to say only "trashy" people would do that and it makes everyone turning heads!. It's disgusting! we already know he is married but c'mon do we need to know when he got lucky too?...we all know [according to him] he only gets in once in a blue moon, and once in a blue moon we see him walking around with hickeys (sp?)...it's GROSS and people laugh at him too!. [edit] I like the guy's above answer: yeah, why not ask her to suck somewhere else *wink*

Hickeys happen sometimes, especially during hot and wild sex. Especially on people who bruise easily.

They are but one physical manifestation of the bond felt between the two people involved. I know I try to make sure any hickeys I give my wife are below the collar of her shirt, but accidents happen.

To each their own....I know someone who's an adult and recently re-married and showed up with one on her neck and I think it's cute and funny and we teased her ALL DAY LONG about it, although I would be horrified myself to have one...makes me feel like an awkward teenager all over again! LOL

I am in my 30's and sometimes my husband leaves them on me unintentionally and they usually go away by the next day.

Sometimes it just happens without intention, but yeah, they are nasty to have displayed on your neck for the world to see.

That is so immature. So I do not see why you would have a problem with them.
