Look it this way, the earth spins on its axis once in 24 hours. There are 360 degrees in a complete rotation. Therefore, the earth spins at 15 degrees per hour. Thus, the 'normal sun time' for a location 30 degrees EAST of the Greenwich meridian in london will be 2 hours (30/15=2) ahead. I use the phraze'normal sun time ' to differentiate from times that are 'man corrected' like BST,etc.
Latitude does not figure, its the LONGITUDE that makes the difference.

Try looking at a clock. Alternativwly a sundial and then work out the time difference betweem Harare and London.

time is determined by longitude, not by latitude

Each 15 degrees of latitude west a place is, makes it an hour later that the sun reaches it

!2 noon in London

10 am in a place 30 degrees west of London
