your unemployment runs out and your still unemployed do they cut you off competly . What do you do? has anyone have this happen to them.

ok i have been looking for a job all year but now im kicking it into high gear since its almost running out and i live in new jersey. I dont drive either so its hard i been applying for jobs over the computer and no called me its not i dont love working i do but i took a macys holiday job and got laid off and i quit my other job without notice for walmart. i regrated it ever since i was making 8.40 an hour. i should have never listen to my boyfriend.

it means you have to get a job. you can always get welfare

That depends greatly on your gender, and if you have children living with you in your home. If you are female with two kids, you can get food stamps, cash assistance, and various other forms of assistance while you retrain or find a job. I don't say this to be sexist, but if dad is unemployed and is in the home, there is less offered.

Check with your local DHS (SRS here in Kansas) and see if you may be eligible for some form of assistance. It never hurts to ask, and they may be able to help you get through this tough spot.

You can actually file for an extension of benefits, but there is a criteria you need to meet. Contact your state unemployment office to see if you meet the extension requirements.

Yes, you are cut off completely, unless they issue an extension.

Call your Unemployment Office and ask them, if you will receive an extension.

They cut it off for a reason...If you're still on it by now,,,you're milking it.
Get a job..any job...We've carried you long enough.
