Even if there are ghosts, its the living that can be more awful than the dead. What a great adventure, shame that this could not be a tourist thing at least it would make money but too much breathing would cause decay inside, so zahi wouldn't allow it.

I haven't heard of any stories regarding "unexplained" visitors or events occurring in the pyramids. But once the air conditioning is turned off and the tourists have gone the silence is quite overwhelming. Even the Great Gallery takes on a different feeling and to tell truth, I would not like to spend the night in them.
However there are a few tombs that have some pretty eerie stories associated with them and I have had my own small experience with unexplained phenomena.
I was in one of the nobles tombs near Deir el Bahri and engrossed in my task of measuring different aspects of an interior room that was off a small passageway to the outside.
Working with generator power for lighting can often cause flickering or even blackouts for a few minutes. this is quite common.
On that particular day the lights began to flicker and I just kept on with what I was doing thinking that the person I sensed standing behind me was one of our support team.
I began talking to him as I working, asking if he could go and check the generator for me.
There was no answer, so I turned to address him face to face and there was no one there.
I'm positive there had been definitely "someone" there, but who I don't know.
The strange thing was I felt no fear and continued the day working there. My visitor or more likely my host never appeared again.
I have heard many similar stories from archeologists and Egyptologists.
Howard Carter,of Tutankhamun fame wrote about several encounters that he experienced in his journal.

Yes to the pyramids being haunted and the ghosts...and no way would I sleep in one alone or with others.
I live in a haunted house and have never had any problems, but a pyramid? No thank you.

I like the pyramids, thay have a magical power. Not a problem with me sleeping in one.
Build one your self with 2x4s and plastic, orient it north and put a potted plant in it. Watch how much faster grows, compared to one planted at the same time but outside of your pyramid.
Now a star for you Francis

No, there are no ghosts and gouls because the only people who were buried in there were happy people. Lots of gold, treasure, food, gifts, trinkets, people, ect. Why would they choose to stay on Earth? And yes, it would be a little creapy to spend the night there, because you never know what is in a place so old and creepy and decrepid.

No, they are not. I never heard about it. I am happy that it never occurred to me that I would sleep there alone all night, that would be a nightmare.
